Formerly a 40 acre plantation in 1942 and donated to the county, The Cape May County Park & Zoo is home to a collection of more than 500 animals representing 250 species in 85 acres of exhibits. The zoo is voted 5th best in the USA and 13th best in the world. The zoo is free to enter and welcomes donations.

Bagged lunch in the park or purchased lunch inside of the zoo
No outside food is allowed inside of the zoo, but food can be purchased at the Safari Café or Tiger Hut. If you prefer to bring your lunch, you may leave it in the car until it’s time to eat at the park.

The Lion’s Den Gift Shop has wheelchair/motorized, and stroller rentals for a fee.
