It offers hands-on nutrition education for children and adults, focusing on connecting people with natural foods through fun, culinary-based programs. There are a variety of programs offered year-round to show children that natural foods and healthy eating habits are not only beneficial, but can be fun and adventurous, too!

HEALTHY-LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE:
The 2-hour trip includes:
1) Greeting and Introduction to HealthBarn USA
2) Meet the Garden - Compost, go on a herb adventure and taste what's growing in the garden
3) Help prepare and eat the famous Rainbow Swirly Smoothie
4) Plant peas in recyclable pots to grow at home
5) Test Nutrition & Food IQ by playing the seasonal food game
6) Conclusion - Take home healthy-lifestyle bags!
HealthBarn USA is located in a public park that has 20+ parking spaces
Dress appropriately for the weather.
Additional Information
You may bring a bagged lunch to eat outside on the grounds after the trip.
Students may play on the playground at the conclusion of the trip.
