Wheaton Arts is an internationally acclaimed arts community and cultural center. Their Museum of American Glass is known for having the world's largest hand-blown glass bottle! They have a plethora of artists who offer demonstrations in glass, pottery, flameworking, and more. You can find exhibits, special events, performances, and workshops throughout the year. They also have a wonderful gift shop, nature trail, and picnic area.

The day at Wheaton includes:
Admission to Wheaton Arts campus
Demonstration in the Glass Studio
Demonstration in the Pottery/Flamework Studio
Demonstration in the Paper Studio
Private Guided Tour of the Museum of American Glass
Private Watercolor Resist Class
Please note this trip is for 3rd - 12th graders
This trip including demonstrations, tours, and class is from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Pack a bag lunch or snack. Be sure to have a nice meal prior as the tour runs through lunchtime.
Additional Information
There is a General Store on campus with specialty foods, hard-to-find nostalgic candies, puzzles, books, novelty toys, innovative kitchenware and more.
There is also a specialty shop for contemporary sculptures, paperweights, and home decor.
Wheaton has a Nature Trail that runs through the 45-acre campus if you want to come early or stay later.
There is a one-mile looping trail with information about the region and wildlife to learn along the way. If you want to partake in a scavenger hunt, download this page beforehand.
