Land of Make Believe

  • 354 Great Meadows Road, Rt 611 Hope, NJ (map)

About

Land of Make Believe was founded by Hermann Maier in 1954. It is a combination of rides, a water park, wading pool, civil war train, off-road safari, arcade, boardwalk games, historical house, domestic farm animals, and shows.

A teacher designed and built the Land of Make Believe to excite imagination, make learning engaging, and offer an affordable option for family fun. A Dairy Farm was transformed into what it is today.
